Flagler County Jail Roster

The Flagler County jail roster is a public resource that lists individuals currently held in the county detention facility in Florida. FlaglerCourt.us can help you find publicly available information about current and recent inmates, including booking details and charges. You can also access jail roster information through the Flagler County Sheriff's Office website, by calling the jail directly, or by visiting in person. A jail roster search allows the public to verify whether someone is in custody, view the charges against them, and check booking dates. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office maintains the roster, which is updated regularly and hosted on the sheriff's office inmate search portal. Under Florida's public records laws, this information is generally accessible to anyone.

Search Current Inmates in Flagler Jail

There are several ways to look up someone currently held at the Flagler County jail.

Online Search

  1. Visit FlaglerCourt.us to search publicly available court and inmate information.
  2. Go to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office inmate search portal at inmatesearch.flaglersheriff.com. The tool allows you to search by name or browse a list of current inmates.
  3. Enter the individual's full legal name or booking number if you have it.
  4. Review the results, which typically display the inmate's name, booking date, charges, and bond amount.

If the roster displays as a browsable list rather than a search field, use your browser's find function (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) to locate a specific name quickly.

For related court case information, the Flagler County Clerk of Court offers a court records search, and the Flagler County Official Records portal provides access to additional public documents.

What You Need to Search

  • The individual's full legal name (first and last name at minimum)
  • Booking number, if known
  • Date of birth can help narrow results when common names appear

Note: Juvenile offenders are not listed on the public jail roster. Records involving minors are confidential under Florida law.

Find Flagler Jail Booking Records Online

A booking record is created each time an individual is processed into the Flagler County jail. This happens after an arrest, when jail staff document the person's identity, photograph them, and record the circumstances of their detention.

Information Generated at Booking

  • Unique booking number
  • Date and time of booking
  • Charges filed at the time of arrest
  • Arresting agency (Flagler County Sheriff's Office, Bunnell Police Department, Palm Coast city officers, etc.)
  • Bond amount, if set
  • Mugshot photograph
  • Physical descriptors (height, weight, hair color, eye color)

How to Access Booking Records

Current booking records are viewable through the Flagler County Sheriff's inmate search tool. If you need records for someone who has already been released, the online roster may no longer show that entry. In that case:

Search the Flagler Jail Roster by Last Name or Booking Number

The Flagler County inmate roster supports two primary search methods.

Search by Last Name

  1. Enter the individual's last name in the search field. Adding a first name helps narrow results.
  2. Use correct spelling. If you are unsure of the exact spelling, try common variations.
  3. If the system supports partial name searches, entering the first few letters of the last name may return a broader set of results to review.

Search by Booking Number

If you already have a booking number — from a bail bondsman, attorney, or prior search — enter it directly. This is the fastest way to pull up a specific record without ambiguity.

When a Search Returns No Results

If the person you are looking for does not appear on the roster, consider these possibilities:

  • Not yet processed: There can be a delay between arrest and when the booking record appears online.
  • Already released: The roster typically shows only individuals currently in custody. Once released, the record may be removed.
  • Name variation: The person may have been booked under a legal name that differs from the name you searched (maiden name, middle name, alias).
  • Held elsewhere: The individual may have been transferred to another facility or to state custody.
  • Juvenile: Minors do not appear on the public roster.

If none of these apply, call the jail at (386) 437-4116 to confirm whether the person is in custody.

Jail Roster Updates and Search Limitations in Flagler

The Flagler County jail roster is updated on a regular basis, typically reflecting new bookings and releases throughout the day. However, it is not always instantaneous. There are practical limitations to keep in mind.

Update Frequency

  • New bookings generally appear on the roster after the intake process is complete, which can take several hours after an arrest.
  • Releases are removed from the roster, sometimes with a short delay after the individual has physically left the facility.

Known Limitations

LimitationExplanation
Processing delayAn arrest may occur hours before the booking record appears online.
Post-release removalOnce an inmate is released, their record is typically removed from the active roster. It is not an archive.
Data entry lagCharge updates, bond changes, or court outcomes may not reflect immediately on the roster.
Current custody onlyThe roster shows who is in the jail right now — not a historical log of everyone ever booked.
TransfersInmates transferred to state prison or another county facility will no longer appear.
